Your $50K Event Shouldn't Disappear

Storimatic Studio films events for construction, industrial and trades companies in Calgary. Highlight reels, social clips and marketing content from corporate events, groundbreakings, project launches and conferences.

Every conference, groundbreaking and grand opening is full of content. The handshakes. The speeches. The crowd reacting to your project. That footage becomes LinkedIn posts, Instagram reels and website video that keeps working for months.

Most companies hire a photographer, get 200 photos and use four. We shoot video that actually gets used.

Short form

One Event, a Month of Clips

The vertical cuts that come out of a shoot day. This is what keeps the room alive on LinkedIn and Instagram weeks after everyone went home.

The problem

You're Leaving Money on the Table

Here is what usually happens.

  1. You spend $50,000 on the event. The venue, the food, the speakers, the planning.
  2. Then you hire a photographer for $1,500.
  3. You get 300 photos. You post 3. The rest sit in a Drive folder nobody opens.
  4. No video. No highlight reel. No clips for social. Your event happened, and nobody who wasn't there knows about it.
Without video 300 photos

Three posts. A folder nobody opens. The event is forgotten inside a week.

The real cost $0 return

You paid $50K for the day. Investors, clients and partners never saw it.

With Storimatic 3 months

One highlight reel and five social clips keep working long after the room empties.

The math

Around a Tenth of the Budget, Months of the Content

$2,000+ Per video, booked separately

Producing the same pieces as individual shoots runs $2,000 to $5,000 each, every time.

What you get

Not Just Footage. Ready-to-Post Content.

2 minute highlight reel

The best moments, edited and graded. It goes on your website, on LinkedIn and into investor decks.

5 social clips, 30 seconds each

Vertical 9:16 for Reels and LinkedIn, horizontal 16:9 for YouTube and your site. Ready to post, not ready to re-export.

Licensed drone footage

Aerial views of your site, your project and its scale. Impossible to fake and instantly credible.

Time-lapse

Setup through teardown, compressing the full energy of the day into sixty seconds.

Interviews and testimonials

Two to three minute client and stakeholder interviews, which usually become the most useful asset on the whole website.

All raw footage

You own everything. Use it in proposals, annual reports and training for years afterwards.

Event types

What We Cover

Groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings

That ten second shovel moment becomes a sixty second reel investors share for months.

Grand openings and project launches

New building, new facility, new chapter. Launch-day energy that proves what you built.

Conferences and industry events

Keynotes and panels become clips your attendees share and your prospects watch later.

Safety events and team days

Show the standard, build the culture, and produce content that proves you take both seriously.

Investor tours and client walkthroughs

Drone aerials plus interior walkthroughs, so the project speaks for itself without you being in the room.

How it works

Five Steps. You Focus on the Event.

Discovery call

Fifteen to thirty minutes. You tell us about the event, we build the shot list. You do not need to know anything about video.

Pre-production

One to two weeks out we lock the schedule, confirm logistics and finalise the shot list. You approve it, we prep.

Event day

The crew arrives an hour early and sets up quietly. We film everything that matters and your guests barely notice us.

Post-production

Five to seven business days of editing, colour and sound. Raw footage becomes finished content.

Delivery

A secure link with the highlight reel, the social clips and the raw footage, while people still remember the event.

Why Storimatic

The Difference

We shoot for marketing, not memories

Every clip is designed to become a LinkedIn post, a reel or a website asset, and it is formatted for that platform before you get it.

We have been on job sites

We know the difference between a groundbreaking and a ribbon cutting, and we know what a general contractor's client actually wants to see.

Content, not a hard drive

You do not get a folder of files. You get three to seven finished pieces, delivered in a week.

Cinema-grade equipment

Up to six cameras, professional audio, stabilisation and a licensed drone. Not an iPhone on a tripod.

“We used that event content for four months. LinkedIn, Instagram, our website, all of it came from one shoot.”
Bryan RegularCEO and founder, Omega 2000 · Calgary, AB

The guarantee

If your highlight reel doesn't meet the quality standard we agreed on in pre-production, we re-edit it at no charge. No arguments, no fine print.

Answers

Event Video, Answered

01How much does event video production cost in Calgary?

Two packages. Highlight is $2,000 and covers up to four hours with one shooter, a 60 second reel and two social clips. Full Production is $4,500 for full-day coverage with two shooters, a two minute reel, five social clips, licensed drone, time-lapse and all raw footage. Travel within 50km is included in both.

02How far in advance should we book?

As early as you can. We take a limited number of event bookings each month because event dates cannot move, so a date is either free or it is not. If your event is inside six weeks, ask about availability before you plan around us.

03How quickly do we get the video?

One week turnaround on both packages. That matters more for events than for anything else we film, because the value of the footage falls the further you get from the day people were talking about it.

04Will the crew be intrusive during the event?

No. The crew arrives an hour early, sets up quietly and works from the edges. Guests generally do not register that filming is happening, which is the point: the reactions have to be real.

05Do you fly drones at events?

Yes, on the Full Production package. Founder Jared Ho holds an advanced RPAS licence certified by Transport Canada, and airspace clearance is arranged before the day rather than on it.

06What if the event runs late or the schedule changes?

Events always move. Full Production is full-day coverage, so a delayed ribbon cutting or an over-running keynote is a scheduling detail, not a problem.

07Do we own the footage?

Yes. On Full Production all raw footage is delivered to you and it is yours to use in proposals, reports and training for as long as you like.

08What happens if we are not happy with the edit?

If the highlight reel does not meet the standard agreed in pre-production, we re-edit it at no charge. That is the whole guarantee, and there is no fine print under it.
